Help us launch Adult Nerd Night at Winston Heights-Mountview Community Hall.
This first event is not a full game night yet, it is a casual launch and signup evening where we will show examples of the types of Nerd Night events we can run, meet interested participants, identify volunteer hosts, and start building groups for future nights.
If you are interested in board games, Dungeons & Dragons, tabletop RPGs, mini painting, trading card games, video games, fantasy, sci-fi, or other nerdy hobbies, this is the night to come out and help shape the program.
We are especially looking for people who may be interested in helping as:
- Dungeon Masters / Game Masters
- Board game hosts or teachers
- Mini painting or hobby night helpers
- Trading card game hosts
- Tournament or themed night organizers
- General volunteers who can help welcome people and set up tables
You do not need to volunteer to attend. This is also the best night to come if you are new, curious, coming alone, or not sure which event type is right for you.
During the evening, you will be able to:
- See examples of possible Nerd Night activities
- Sign up for future capped events
- Join interest lists for D&D, board games, mini painting, trading cards, and video games
- Meet other adults interested in similar hobbies
- Help us identify what events should happen first
- Let us know if you are willing to host, teach, DM, or help organize
Some future Nerd Night events will need to be capped based on space, supplies, or the number of available hosts. D&D and tabletop RPG nights in particular will depend on how many Dungeon Masters or Game Masters are available.
No experience is required. You do not need to bring a group. Solo attendees are very welcome.
Come help us build the party before the adventure begins.
