*we will be accepting donations in the form of non-perishable food, toiletries and clothing at this event. All donations will be given to the temporary homeless shelter, set up North of our neighbourhood on Edmonton Trail, in response to Calgary floods.*
Strap on your cowboy boots and cowboy hat and join your Winston Heights-Mountview neighbours for the Pre-Stampede Friends and Neighbours BBQ. There will be live music, face painters and balloon artists. Kids who would like to participate in the parade should bring their decorated bikes to the Community Hall by noon. There will be decoration supplies at the Hall for last minute additions to bike-floats.
