*we will be accepting donations in the form of non-perishable food, toiletries and clothing at this event.  All donations will be given to the temporary homeless shelter, set up North of our neighbourhood on Edmonton Trail, in response to Calgary floods.*

 

Strap on your cowboy boots and cowboy hat and join your Winston Heights-Mountview neighbours for the Pre-Stampede Friends and Neighbours BBQ. There will be live music, face painters and balloon artists.  Butterfield Acres will be present with a mini-farm for kids to interact with animals and Pedal Heads will be present to do a fun obstacle course and a stampede-style bike parade!

Kids who would like to participate in the parade should bring their decorated bikes to the Community Hall by noon. There will be decoration supplies at the Hall for last minute additions to bike-floats.

When:    Saturday, June 22, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Food:     Hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks

Cost:     This event is FREE!
