For 75 years, the Winston Heights-Mountview Community Association (WHMCA) has steered the development of our association, offering beautiful facilities, two amazing gardens and playground as well as the Victory Park playground, the Marsden Park skating rink and our own skating rink. Community members have helped keep the relationship between neighbours vibrant through volunteering or participating in events, initiatives and programs.

JOIN OR RENEW YOUR WHMCA MEMBERSHIP!

WHMCA is a not-for-profit organization which does not receive any operating funds from the government. Rather, monies are raised each year through memberships, donations, grants, and hall rentals to support events, programs, other community initiatives and infrastructure.

The organization is led by a dedicated board of directors who are elected from the WHMCA membership at each Annual General Meeting. This board endeavours to cultivate a community that is inclusive of all ages and cultural backgrounds, ensuring it is as attractive to new residents as it is to those of us who already live here. Events, programs, and other initiatives are only limited by the enthusiasm, expertise and time of volunteers who work with them.

WHMCA members are invited to be a voice in matters of local importance such as the City’s planning and development process and traffic safety. Members stay informed of City matters, community events, and volunteer opportunities through our newsletter, website, and social media. Members can make new friendships and connections through volunteerism and by taking part in social events.
