This note is to inform you that an emergency waste

This note is to inform you that an emergency wastewater repair is required on the wastewater main running down the middle of Edmonton Trail NE. This repair requires a full closure of Edmonton Trail at 9th Avenue NE because of the depth of the main. This is a critical piece of the wastewater collection system and must be repaired immediately. Currently there are no service impacts to water customers but, this will cause traffic delays to commuters.

This work is considered a high priority and, if necessary, our crews will be working extended hours to get the break repaired as safely and as quickly as possible.

Our goal is to restore the roadway as soon as possible once the appropriate repairs are complete. I will update you if our timelines change.
