This is the Calgary Police Service with a PCAP message for the communities of Crescent Hts., Bridgeland, Renfrew, & Winston Heights-Mountview.

The Calgary Police Service would like to advise that there has recently been an unusual increase in residential break and enters in the communities of Crescent Heights, Bridgeland, Renfrew and Winston Heights-Mountview.

Entry to homes was gained by shouldering or prying front and back doors. Jewelry, electronic devices, and cash were taken. In one instance, entry was gained by using a key believed to have been left in a car ignition.  Two guitars were stolen from this home, and culprits left in the stolen vehicle that has since been recovered with no visible damages.

The Calgary Police Service is reminding residents to take extra precautions when securing your residence and vehicle.

Report suspicious persons or vehicles to the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234. Call 9-1-1 if you see a crime in progress. You may also report criminal activity anonymously to Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
