The WHMCA Annual General Meeting is coming up on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:00 pm. Come and find out about all the activities that your community association has been involved in over the past year. We will talk about events that we held this past year to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the WHMCA, the activities that happen in and around the hall, and the state of the finances. There will also be an update on the fight against the overhead power line along 16th and 17th Avenues and Munro Park.
Do you want to take a more active role in your community? The Annual General Meeting is a perfect opportunity to step forward and join the WHMCA Board of Directors. You will participate in community association decisions and can take a leadership role in our ongoing events and projects!
Finally, is there anyone that you would like to recognize as a special volunteer in our community? We have two awards:
- The Michelle Hogaboam Volunteer Award for any volunteer who has made a special contribution in the last one to three years.
- The WHMCA Lifetime Achievement Award for any volunteer who has made significant contributions over the last fifteen or more years.
