FRESH BREATH will perform in the East Hall of the main building in a kind of ‘cabaret’-style seating. The show starts at 3pm with a chance to talk with neighbours over Dave’s surprise lunch at 2:30pm.
About FRESH BREATH: Josh & Katie Pascoe are the husband & wife duo from southern Ontario, FRESH BREATH. Their music is influenced by artists like Tom Petty, Alanis Morissette & Fleetwood Mac. Their show features soaring vocals, rippin’ guitar, flute solos & humorous stories from the road. The couple, with well over a decade of professional experience, currently find themselves touring across Canada and the USA in their DIY converted camper van. In November, they released a new studio album, THROUGH MY WINDOW (Southwestern Records).

Join us on Saturday, June 15 beginning at 4.00PM to celebrate 75 years of Winston Heights-Mountview! This year we are pulling out all the stops with Magician Richard Rondeau, DJ Jonathan Yumol, and live music with Rob Mann, field games, arts and crafts, a beer garden, concession and great food! We’ll be holding a 50/50 draw too! You don’t want to miss out!
As an added feature, we’re asking community members to bring along a memento, photograph or any other small item that we can add to the 75th Anniversary Time Capsule. The time capsule will be buried after the event in the Centennial Garden to be opened on the 100th Anniversary of the community. Please drop off your items on the day at the Welcome Tent.
Food and drink tickets will be available for purchase with cash or credit card. 50/50 tickets will be on sale for cash only. Kids under 12 eat for free. All proceeds to benefit community events and programming.
Volunteers will be needed to make this event a success, so please consider donating your time by signing up for a shift.
