DESCRIPTION:\n\nWinston Heights-Mountview Community Association has invited
  SHAUNDRA BRUVALL of ALPHA HOUSE to give a free workshop\, open to all Win
 ston Heights-Mountview residents. This workshop will provide us with pract
 ical information about interacting with people living on the streets - or 
 in encampments - of Winston Heights-Mountview\; people who may be under th
 e influence\, struggling with poor mental health\, sleep deprived\, or som
 e combination of the above.\n\nLearn:\n\n 	the landscape\, myths and key c
 oncepts surrounding homelessness and addiction\n 	biases and perceptions\n
  	improving interactions.\n\nThere will be a 60-minute slide show presenta
 tion\, followed by a Q&amp\;A. Refreshments provided.\n\nJoin us and learn
  more about navigating substance use\, homelessness\, and interactions in 
 our community's public spaces.\n\n\n\n
