Survey Is Now Open
The annual Avenue magazine Best Neighbourhoods Survey is now open online. Fill out the survey today to tell Avenue what makes your community great. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete and closes on Feb. 28, 2014.

The survey has two parts. The first asks which characteristics and amenities are most important in making a great neighbourhood. For example, survey respondents are asked to rate the importance of safety, friendliness of neighbours and walkability as well as the importance of having a grocery store, schools and parks, among other factors. The second part asks specific questions about your community and how it stacks up.
Avenue has partnered with Leger Marketing to gather the data and to create weighted criteria regarding what makes an excellent neighbourhood. After that, they also include objective third-party data, such as crime statistics, property values and other information, and crunch the numbers to create a ranking of Calgary’s best neighbourhoods.
