Santa Breakfast!

Join us for a festive Saturday on December 2nd, from 9 am to 12 pm, at the community hall, where we have a delightful pancake breakfast, hayrides, and a special visit from Santa.

This year, “The Giving Tree” initiative is thrilled to partner with Mamas for Mamas, a remarkable charity that supports Calgary families in need.

Support Mamas for Mamas by either bringing an item to the Santa Breakfast or selecting an ornament from The Giving Tree at the event and dropping it off later. Accepted items include

  • New Toys
  • Stocking Stuffers
  • Wipes, Diapers
  • Winter Clothing
  • Canned or Dry Goods

Indulge your sweet tooth and back a great cause by contributing to our bake sale, a part of “The Giving Tree” initiative for Mamas for Mamas. To contribute baked goods, please contact bakesale@winstonheights.ca or call Samantha Nicastro at 403-619-5149. Drop off your baked goods on December 1st between 4 – 8 pm at the community hall, and kindly provide a list of ingredients with your contribution.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you on the 2nd! HO! HO! HO!

This year, we kindly ask attendees to register in advance. The event is free for current members and children under 12, and $10 for non-members.

We rely on community support, so if you can spare some time, please consider signing up for a volunteer shift.

Fall YOGA

The second fall session of “Yoga with Karl”begins November 14th at the Winston Heights-Mountview Community Hall. The series has the option for AM and/or PM classes as well as the option for either Tuesday, Thursday, or BOTH!

Playgroup!

Welcome to the beginning of a new school year.  We would like to thank all the Moms, Dads, Grandparents and Caregivers who make our playgroup a cozy entertaining and fun place to be with our little ones!

We recently updated the toy collection at the Community Centre to make the children’s experience that much more exciting.  Please come and check it out every Tuesday morning from10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. (September – June) except holidays and Dec. 23 &30.
